Coogee Beach

First off, Coogee Beach! Filled with many amenities and ideal for a family outing, Coogee Beach is sheltered by a rocky Wedding cake island, thus making it an ideal swimming spot. And if by any chance the open ocean is not your thing, Coogee boasts two of Sydney's most spectacular ocean pools - Wylie's Baths and McIvers Baths (women and children only).

Coogee beach also has 50 smart-lockers which are free of cost for you to drop off your valuables while you swim.

Maroubra Beach

As for our next destination, only a 10 minute walk from Coogee Beach is Australia's second only National Surfing Reserve, Maroubra Beach. This sandy beauty is an ideal place to go and relax, with barbecues in the central part of the beach and towards the south of the beach near South Maroubra Surf Club. Bring your family with you and let your kids play in the large playground or at the skate park nearby.

As well as Coogee, Maroubra also has 24 free-to-use lockers for your belongings.

Whichever activity you pick as your favorite this summer, you’ll want to be as free and relaxed as possible. For that reason, both Coogee and Maroubra Beach have installed Yellowbox smart lockers.

They work in the simplest way and are free to use. After downloading the app, you can quickly reserve a locker and leave your belongings without worrying about a key. If you also want to leave your phone behind, then you can opt-in for setting up a 4 digit pin code which you can use to unlock the locker instead of using your phone.

Manly Beach

Of course what is a ‘Top Beaches’ list without Manly. Gorgeous for a stroll, bike ride or rollerblade session or perhaps you fancy a dip in one of the saltwater swimming pools. While you’re there, you can visit Cabbage Tree Bay, a 20 hectares aquatic reserve with more than 150 fish species. Manly is the place to be if you like watersports, from surfing and windsurfing to parasailing. Manly also has a great picnic area, as well as access to barbecues.

Bondi Beach

Last on our list, but certainly not least is Bondi Beach. Ideal place for sipping on cocktails, visiting the street art wall or learning surfing at one of accredited surf schools. The beach is surrounded by sandstone headlands. After a day of swimming or simply hanging out at the beach with breathtaking views and many amenities, there are quaint cute shops nearby to round off your trip with some new Aussie bathers. This is Australia's busiest and most popular beach so there’s sure to be something for you at Bondi.

So, here it is. Our list to help you narrow down some of the best locations to visit at this time. Make your own experience out of these beautiful places and great activities they have to offer and most of all - enjoy your summer to the fullest!
